Miscellaneous

This section provides a complete list of the Miscellaneous properties you can configure in the connection settings for this provider.

PropertyDescription
DefaultDomainThis property is used for the Oracle Database Gateway for ODBC.
EnableForeignKeyDetectionWhether to detect the foreign keys in ODBC.
HeaderIndicates whether or not the provider should detect column names from the first row.
HideFormattingCharactersSet to True if you want to hide currency symbols and percentage signs in numeric values. This will also convert these columns from varchar to double. Only works if TypeDetectionScheme is set to RowScan and at least the first RowScanDepth values for that column are convertable to double.
IgnoreRowsNotFoundIf set to false and any of the specified Row IDs are not found, no rows will be deleted, and a 'not found' error will be returned.
IncludeDualTableSet this property to mock the Oracle DUAL table for better compatibility with Oracle database.
LimitKeySizeThe maximum length of a primary key column.
MapBigintToVarcharThis property controls whether or not the bigint type maps to SQL_VARCHAR instead of SQL_BIGINT. This property is false by default.
MapToIntThis property controls whether or not the long type maps to SQL_INTEGER instead of SQL_BIGINT. This property is false by default.
MapToLongVarcharThis property controls whether or not a column is returned as SQL_LONGVARCHAR.
MapToWVarcharThis property controls whether or not string types map to SQL_WVARCHAR instead of SQL_VARCHAR. This property is set by default.
MaximumColumnSizeThe maximum column size.
MaxRowsLimits the number of rows returned rows when no aggregation or group by is used in the query. This helps avoid performance issues at design time.
OtherThese hidden properties are used only in specific use cases.
PagesizeThe maximum number of results to return per page from Smartsheet.
PseudoColumnsThis property indicates whether or not to include pseudo columns as columns to the table.
ReadonlyYou can use this property to enforce read-only access to Smartsheet from the provider.
ReportCompatibilityLevelControls whether new functionality, such as multi-contact data is returned as: Backwards-compatible, text format (level 0, default) Multi-contact data (level 1) Multi-contact data (report-compatible, level 2) Multi-picklist data (level 3) .
RowScanDepthThe maximum number of rows to scan to look for the columns available in a table.
RTKThe runtime key used for licensing.
TimeoutThe value in seconds until the timeout error is thrown, canceling the operation.
TypeDetectionSchemeDetermines how to determine the data types of columns.
UpperCaseIdentifiersThis property reports all identifiers in uppercase. This is the default for Oracle databases and thus allows better integration with Oracle tools such as the Oracle Database Gateway.
UseFullFilePathsAsTableNamesWhether or not to include the full file path in the name of an exposed table or view, corresponding to a sheet or report.
UserDefinedViewsA filepath pointing to the JSON configuration file containing your custom views.
UseSimpleNamesBoolean determining if simple names should be used for tables and columns.
ValueSourceIndicates whether the cell will use the Value fields as its value or the DisplayValue field.
