CData JDBC Driver for JIRA 2016
OverviewThe CData JDBC Driver for JIRA 2016 allows you to access JIRA from Java applications. Developers can build Java applications with connectivity to JIRA using the familiar JDBC interfaces. The driver defaults to version 7.1.0 of the JIRA API. The driver abstracts the underlying data source into tables, views, and stored procedures that can be used to both retrieve and update data.
The Getting Started section explains installing and deploying the driver, typical connection properties, and any additional dependencies.
The Using JDBC section shows some common programming idioms that will give you a quick preview of the JDBC 4.0 API.
The SQL Compliance section shows some examples of the SQL-92 syntax supported by the driver and points out any additional capabilities.
An important feature of the driver is the ability to easily cache data locally. This allows the driver to be used in an offline mode when access to the data source is not possible. It also enables complex SQL queries that are otherwise not supported by the underlying data source itself. See the section Caching Data for more details on this feature.
The Data Model section lists the tables, views, and stored procedures available for the driver.
