CData Sync

CData Sync

CData Sync allows you to move data from 200+ supported sources to a destination of your choice. CData Sync supports moving data to relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.), cloud data warehouses (Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, Google Big Query, etc.), and other big data systems (Amazon S3, Azure Data Lake, Kafka, etc.).

CData Sync lets you configure data flow Jobs that you can Schedule and monitor using the Sync Admin Console. The data flow jobs can be simple flows or incorporate transformations, functions, filtering, etc. that modify the data before it is moved to the destination.

Of the 200+ sources CData Sync supports, many support Incremental Loads, where each scheduled Job run will find what has changed in the source since the last run and update the destination accordingly. This makes it possible to keep a very large data set synchronized when replicating everything each time would have been prohibitively expensive. The sources that support incremental loads are clearly marked in the application.

Key Features

  • Replicate to Major Data Warehouses: Supports popular databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Amazon, etc.

  • Incremental Loading: Retrieve only changesets to minimize bandwidth usage and latency of synchronization.

  • Point-and-Click Configuration: Simple administration with straightforward job scheduling and data transformations.

  • Logging and transaction monitoring: Monitor changes made to the database and the data source.

  • Standard enterprise-class security features: Encrypted client-server communications with TLS/SSL.

  • REST API and Events: REST API and events allow integration with external applications.

  • Host on-premise or in the cloud: CData Sync is available as a lightweight ASP.NET Web application and a Java web application both of which come packaged with a stand-alone, embedded server, making it easy to host on a platform of your choice. CData Sync is also available in the AWS Marketplace.
